  • Speak four languages — English, Malay, Indonesian and basic Arabic

  • Tri‑racial identity — Malaysian mother (half Malay, half Chinese) and American Caucasian father

  • Lived on three continents — born in the U.S, shaped by 6 years in Kuwait, 3 in Malaysia, and 21 in Dubai. Now rooted once again in the U.S 3+ years. Full circle.
